Prevention Resource Center
The Prevention Resource Center provides prevention related technical assistance, trainings and a variety of publications to WCSAP member programs, other allied organizations, and statewide sexual assault coalitions across the nation as well as communities interested in ending sexual violence. This page is designed to provide you with general information on prevention, such as the four integral steps (listed below) to a well developed prevention plan: Community Development, Skill Building, Information and Awareness, and Evaluation.
Staple prevention department texts, such as the Community Development and Sexual Assault Prevention booklet, are available on our site. The quarterly newsletter Partners in Social Change and various translated materials are also available, and updated frequently. Hard copies are available for many publications. Please contact us to receive your own copy.
