Training and Outreach Coordinator Children's Justice Center of King County (CJCKC)

Brief Job Description

The CJCKC is in search of a Training and Outreach Coordinator to join our collaborative and dynamic team. The CJCKC is grounded in a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) model: A powerful, victim-centered approach that brings together professionals and experts in the field to provide the most collaborative response for children and families. Our MDT responds to child physical and sexual abuse cases, among others, and includes partners from the CJCKC, Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, law enforcement agencies, advocates, the Department of Children, Youth and Families, medical and mental health providers and more.

The Training and Outreach Coordinator will increase awareness of the CJCKC and the MDT model; provide specialized, high-quality training to our partners and the community at large; and provide consultation and referral to MDT partners to ensure that child victims and witnesses receive the best response, supports and services possible. This position will lead these efforts while developing and strengthening relationships with the diverse community we serve.

We value diversity in our team and embrace the cultural and demographic qualities of the King County community. We work to attract and retain a team that represents the range of backgrounds and perspectives that arise from differences of culture and circumstances. We value the ideas and brilliance that come from lived experience. Candidates with such experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
